[00:40]To a place where nobody's been
[00:43]Through the snow fog flies on the albatross
[00:45]Hailed in God's name, hoping good luck it brings.
[00:51]And the ship sails on, back to the North
[00:53]Through the fog and ice and the albatross follows on
[01:25]The mariner kills the bird of good omen
[01:29]His shipmates cry against what he's done
[01:33]But when the fog clears, they justify him
[01:38]And make themselves a part of the crime.
[01:41]Sailing on and on and North across the sea
[01:50]Sailing on and on and North 'til all is calm
[01:59]The albatross begins with its vengeance
[02:04]A terrible curse a thirst has begun
[02:08]His shipmates blame bad luck on the Mariner
[02:12]About his neck, the dead bird is hung.
[02:16]And the curse goes on and on at sea
[02:24]And the curse goes on and on for them and me.
[02:33]"Day after day, day after day,
[02:35]we stuck nor breath nor motion
[02:37]As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean
[02:42]Water, water everywhere and all the boards did shrink
[02:46]Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink."
[03:02]There, calls the Mariner,
[03:04]there comes a ship over the line
[03:08]But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide.
[03:14]See...onward she comes
[03:19]Onward she nears, out of the sun
[03:26]See...she has no crew
[03:32]She has no life, wait but there's two.
[03:38]Death and she Life in Death.
[03:40]they throw their dice for the crew
[03:44]She wins the Mariner and he belong to her now.
[03:50]Then...crew one by one
[03:55]They drop down dead, two hundred men
[04:02]She...She Life in Death.
[04:07]She lets him live, her chosen one.
[05:54]"One after one by the star dogged moon,
[05:58]too quick for groan or sigh
[06:01]each turned his face with a ghastly pang,
[06:05]and cursed me with his eye
[06:08]four times fifty living men
[06:12](and I heard nor sigh nor groan),
[06:15]with heavy thump, a lifeless lump,
[06:18]they dropped down one by one."
[07:44]The curse it lives on in their eyes
[07:49]The Mariner he wished he'd die
[07:54]Along with the sea creatures
[07:57]But they lived on, so did he.
[08:04]And by the light of the moon
[08:09]He prays for their beauty not doom
[08:14]With heart he blesses them
[08:17]God's creatures all of them too.
[08:24]Then the spell starts to break
[08:29]The albatross falls from his neck
[08:34]Sinks down like lead into the Sea
[08:39]Then down in falls comes the rain.
[11:14]Hear the groans of the long dead seamen
[11:16]See them stir and they start to rise
[11:18]Bodies lifted by good spirits
[11:20]None of them speak and they're lifeless in their eyes.
[11:27]And revenge is still sought, penance starts again
[11:29]Cast into a trance and the nightmare carries on.
[11:36]Now the curse is finally lifted
[11:38]And the Mariner sights his home
[11:40]Spirits go from the long dead bodies
[11:42]Form their light and the Mariner's left alone.
[12:14]And then a boat came sailing towards him
[12:18]It was a joy he could not believe
[12:23]The Pilot's boat, his son and the hermit.
[12:27]Penance of life will fall onto Him.
[12:30]And the ship it sinks like lead into the sea
[12:39]And the hermit shrieves the mariner of his sins.
[12:48]The Mariner's bound to tell of his story
[12:52]To tell his tale wherever he goes
[12:57]To teach God's word by his own example
[13:01]That we must love all things that God made.
[13:04]And the wedding guest's a sad and wiser man
[13:13]And the tale goes on and on and on...and on
